Trash, Recycling and Yard Waste Information
WHAT DAY IS PICK UP?
Tuesdays, but holidays may affect the normal schedule. If New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas fall on a Tuesday, pick up will be Wednesday of that week.
DO I HAVE TO USE CONSTABLE?
The neighborhood will have one trash service available for everyone. You could still have another company, but your dues will remain $425.00.
WHAT DAY IS BIG ITEM PICKUP?
Big item pickup will be on the second Tuesday of every month.
WHAT IS AN ALLOWABLE BIG ITEM FOR ONCE-A-MONTH CURBSIDE PICKUP?
These items include recliner, loveseat, TV, dresser, etc. Weight: up to 100 lbs.
WHAT IF I HAVE OTHER LARGE ITEMS?
You can contact Constable directly to get pricing for picking up those items’ curbside.

DO THEY PROVIDE BINS? WHAT SIZE:
Yes, they provide 95-gallon trash bins and 60-gallon recycling bins. You can use your own containers or no containers, if preferred.
WHERE SHOULD BINS BE STORED?
Trash bins must be stored inside.
HOW IS YARD WASTE HANDLED?
Yard waste must in brown compost bags or in bundles no longer than 3’ feet and weigh less than 40lbs.
DO I PAY CONSTABLE DIRECTLY EACH MONTH?
No, all fees are part of the HOA yearly dues.

HOW LONG DID THE HOA AGREE TO SIGN A CONTRACT?
We requested a one-year renewable contract to see how this service would work for our neighborhood.
WHY CONSTABLE?
We researched options from nine different companies, we are pleased to have selected Constable Sanitation as our trash service provider. Constable was chosen for offering the best combination of value and services for our neighborhood.
WILL THERE BE PRICE INCREASES?
Yes. Annual minimum increase is 3%, maximum increase is equal to the solid waste CPI Increase.
WHAT ABOUT CANCELLATION FEES TO CURRECT TRASH COMPANIES OTHER THAN CONSTABLE?
Contact your provider to request the cancellation fee be waived since the HOA has contracted with Constable. We have been advised KC Disposal will waive their $75 cancellation fee if you send them a copy of the 2025 Notification of Dues letter.
WHAT IF I HAVE ALREADY PAID FOR TRASH SERVICE BEYOND FEBRUARY 1 (including Constable)?
Call your provider and ask for a refund.
